It’s great to reward talent, however, rewarding lip-syncers and people who just speed up or slow down a track, pretty much highlights why we now live in a world where Donald Trump runs the world. And why this lot earn more than Messi.

Next time someone tries to moan at you about football being a financially disgusting game, just let them know that the highest paid player is genuinely the best in his profession. Whereas the music industry pays someone who sounds like Gary Neville’s high-pitched squeals, four times more than the Barcelona superstar.
